VisitWiltshire is promoting the county as the perfect destination for short breaks as part of a new autumn campaign which launched this month.

As well as emphasising its ease of access, the digital “Time for Wiltshire Autumn Campaign” aims to highlight both the huge diversity and the high quality of what the region has to offer visitors.

As part of the campaign, and Autumn Colours video has been commissioned featuring aerial shots of some of Wiltshire’s most iconic destinations including Bowood House & Gardens, Stourhead, Larmer Tree Gardens, and Abbey House Gardens.

In addition to VisitWiltshire’s digital channels, the campaign will also be promoted via VisitEngland and VisitBritain, feature a themed blog and incorporate digital search and display advertising.

“The aim of the campaign is to raise awareness of Wiltshire as an ideal destination that is easy to get to for a well-deserved short break”, said VisitWiltshire’s Fiona Errington. “Whether your ideal break is calming, comforting, refreshing or bursting with high adrenaline excitement, we want everyone to make time for Wiltshire.

“As a county we are blessed with a huge choice of world-class destinations and an amazing variety of high-quality, quirky and unique accommodation. We have beautiful gardens to enjoy the magical autumn colours, incredible events and festivals, arts and culture, relaxing spas, hotels, B&Bs, attractions, and activities”, Fiona added.

Among the specific attractions and events featured in the campaign are the spectacular Festival of Light which launches on 9 November at Longleat, the MacArthurGlen Designer Outlet in Swindon, the historic market town of Corsham, the Michelin-starred Red Lion Freehouse, as well as the stunning gardens at Stourhead and the timeless Stonehenge.
