Tour Partner Group are seeking an Operations & Client Relations Executive to join their team to help ensure clients have the best possible holiday experience in the UK and Ireland, being the main contact for clients and suppliers from the point of booking until the tour’s completion. This role is available for their London and/or Dublin office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of tours: generating bookings in Tourplan and requesting services to suppliers
- Checking itineraries (feasibility & confirming with clients’ publication) and booking and planning all services accordingly
- Administration of group bookings: handling amendments and cancellation, sending rooming lists
- Dealing with additional client requirements
- Distributing all necessary information to all partners so that tours run smoothly from start to finish
- Negotiating and renegotiating rates with suppliers such as hotels, tour guides and coach companies
- Issuing the correct documentation (vouchers, travel documents) on time
- Invoicing clients and processing supplier invoices
- Providing 24-hour emergency assistance to customers
- Meeting the end-to-end need of the client
- All aspects of margin protection/enhancement and cost of sale reduction
- Liaising with clients in sales support and itinerary development where necessary
- Flexibly support team members of the same region (and other regions where required)
The successful candidate will:
- Be fluent in English (written & spoken), German language skills would be a great advantage
- Have good knowledge of destinations in the UK and Ireland
- Have strong communication skills and be an effective team player
- Be IT literate with experienced of Tourplan
- Be a good problem solver and have a positive attitude
- Be detail oriented and client focused
