ATTRACTIONS
Rosslyn Chapel was founded by Sir William St Clair in 1446. The beauty of its setting and the ornate medieval stonework have inspired, attracted and intrigued visitors ever since. The Chapel rose to international fame when it featured in Dan Brown’s novel The Da Vinci Code and the subsequent film. Just seven miles from Edinburgh, the Chapel and visitor centre are open all year. The Chapel is also available for private evening visits with catering provided by arrangement.
